Reports to: Security Supervisor and Loss Prevention Manager

We are looking for an experienced Security Guard to join the business in ensuring our Support Office and onsite warehouse buildings are kept secure and protected.

The role of the Security Guard is to protect our premises, assets, and employees. This should be done by providing and maintaining a high standard of security, safety and customer care to all employees and visitors to guard against theft, unauthorised admittance and to maintain security of the premises.

Key responsibilities:

• Site CCTV Monitoring
• Employee and third-party Searches
• Site Patrols – internal and external
• Gate house control
• Vehicle Management – parking, contractors, and deliveries
• Incident reporting
• Visitor management
• Access Control – card creation and access management for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Escalation of security equipment faults

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid SIA License preferred.
• Previous experience within the Security industry or equivalent (Police, Armed Forces, Loss Prevention etc.)
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Flexibility in working hours.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written.
• The right to work in the UK either by a valid visa or right to work documentation.
• At least 5 years of checkable work history
• Ability to handle difficult, pressurised, and/or emergency situations.
